Where Our Clients Are Staying — November 2026

November has Huckleberry Travel clients trading cooler weather for some pretty spectacular scenery. This month, we’re sending travelers to the very edge of South America, a private residence in the Riviera Maya, and an all-inclusive escape overlooking the Sea of Cortez. These three properties couldn’t be more different, but each is a great example of what we look for in a hotel: a memorable sense of place, an experience that goes beyond the guest room, and some extra VIP treatment when our clients book through the Huckleberry Travel Hotel Program.

Los Cauquenes Resort + Spa + Experiences — Luxury at the End of the World

Our clients traveling to Ushuaia are staying at Los Cauquenes Resort + Spa + Experiences, perched directly on the shores of the Beagle Channel with the snowcapped Andes rising behind it. Ushuaia bills itself as the “End of the World,” and this is a pretty spectacular place from which to experience it.

The hotel has exactly the cozy feel you’d hope for in Patagonia, with fireplaces, expansive windows, and plenty of opportunities to simply sit and stare at the remarkable landscape outside. But Los Cauquenes is also about getting out into that landscape. The property offers its own experiences in and around Ushuaia, from glacier hikes and penguin encounters to excursions on the Beagle Channel. Afterward, guests can retreat to the spa or settle in for a meal at Reinamora, where the cuisine draws on the ingredients and flavors of Tierra del Fuego.

Instead of the more typical hotel credit, our clients receive a particularly nice dining benefit here as part of the Huckleberry Travel Hotel Program:

  • Upgrade on arrival, subject to availability

  • Daily buffet breakfast for up to two guests per bedroom, served in the restaurant (room service is additional charge)

  • Complimentary lunch or dinner for two guests per bedroom, once during stay (excluding alcohol, taxes and gratuities; minimum $100 value and 3 courses)

  • Early check-in / Late check-out, subject to availability

  • Complimentary Wi-Fi

Pro-Tip: Book a room overlooking the Beagle Channel. The water and mountain views are a huge part of what makes staying at Los Cauquenes special, and you’ll want to be able to enjoy them right from your room.

Fairmont Heritage Place, Mayakoba — Your Own Residence in the Riviera Maya

For our clients heading to Mexico’s Riviera Maya, Fairmont Heritage Place, Mayakoba offers something a little different from the traditional luxury-resort experience. Located within the sprawling Mayakoba development, Heritage Place is a collection of private three- and four-bedroom residences that gives families and groups the space and privacy of a vacation home while still providing access to the services and amenities of Fairmont Mayakoba.

And these aren’t just hotel suites with a couple of extra bedrooms. The residences have expansive living and dining areas, full kitchens, laundry facilities, furnished outdoor terraces, and private pools. Guests also have the restaurants, pools, beach, golf, spa, and other amenities of the larger Fairmont Mayakoba resort at their disposal. It’s a particularly appealing combination for families or groups who want to spend time together without sacrificing space or privacy.

Booking through the Huckleberry Travel Hotel Program adds another layer of value to an already impressive residence experience:

  • Upgrade on arrival, subject to availability

  • Daily Buffet breakfast for up to two guests per bedroom, served in the restaurant

  • $150 USD equivalent Resort or Hotel credit to be utilized during stay (not combinable, not valid on room rate, no cash value if not redeemed in full)

  • Early check-in / Late check-out, subject to availability

Pro-Tip: Make some time for Fairmont Spa, where treatments draw inspiration from the surrounding landscape and local traditions. Try one of the treatments incorporating locally produced honey, or experience a traditional Temazcal ritual designed around cleansing and renewal.

Grand Velas Los Cabos — All-Inclusive Without Compromise

Our clients heading to Los Cabos are staying at Grand Velas Los Cabos, a resort that makes a pretty convincing case that “all-inclusive” and “luxury” can belong in the same sentence. Every one of the resort’s 307 suites faces the Sea of Cortez, with oversized private terraces designed to take advantage of those views.

Food is a major part of the experience here, and this isn’t the endless-buffet version of an all-inclusive. The resort has multiple distinctive restaurants, including Cocina de Autor, with a tasting menu created by two-Michelin-starred chef Sidney Schutte. Add a 35,000-square-foot spa, three-tier infinity pool, dedicated kids’ and teens’ programs, and a packed schedule of activities, and it’s easy to understand why this is one of our favorite choices for clients who want the ease of an all-inclusive without giving up a true luxury-resort experience.

Since meals are already part of the package, the Huckleberry Travel Hotel Program benefits here are focused on experiences that add something extra to the stay:

  • Upgrade on arrival, subject to availability (Ambassador Suite Ocean View to Ambassador Pool Suite Ocean View)

  • Complimentary hydrotherapy water journey ceremony per person for up to two guests per room, once during stay

  • $100 USD credit on romantic experiences menu

  • $50 USD Spa credit per adult, per night (applicable towards massages, facials, and body wrap treatments with a duration of 50 min or more. Not applicable to SPA Boutique products, Beauty Salon, Hydrotherapy Circuit. Not applicable to treatments available in Spa Cabanas (outdoor areas). Non-combinable, non-cumulative, not transferable between guests, no cash value if not redeemed in full)

  • Early check-in/late check-out, subject to availability

  • Complimentary Wi-Fi

Pro-Tip: For a memorable night, arrange the resort’s elevated stargazing experience. A professional telescope, blankets and cushions, Champagne, and sweet and savory canapés turn the desert sky over Los Cabos into the evening’s entertainment.

November’s hotels are a good reminder that “luxury” doesn’t have to mean the same thing everywhere. Sometimes it’s waking up to the mountains at the end of the world. Sometimes it’s having your own private pool and enough space for the whole family. And sometimes it’s knowing that practically everything has already been taken care of before you even arrive. If you’re thinking about your next trip, let Huckleberry Travel help you find the hotel that fits the way you actually want to travel, with a few extra perks along the way.
