Press and Media Inquiries

Huckleberry Travel’s founders and travel advisors are available for media requests and speaking engagements.

We are verified travel advisors with the American Society of Travel Advisors (“ASTA”), and are members of the Cruise Line International Association (“CLIA”) and the International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association. We are the founders and co-owners of Huckleberry Travel, a boutique travel agency, which consults with clients on a wide range of leisure travel including ocean and river cruises, adventure and expedition travel, premium and luxury travel, and resort vacations. We’ve traveled to every continent (including Antarctica), and have sent our clients on budget, premium, and luxury vacations around the globe. Our advocacy on behalf of our clients has been highlighted in mainstream media outlets, including the New York Times, ABC News, USA Today, Forbes, and AARP Magazine. We’re frequent guests on broadcast and podcast outlets, as well, including RMWorldTravel with Robert & Mary Carey and Rudy Maxa. And we have also been quoted in industry publications, including Travel Pulse, Skift, Agent at Home Magazine, Travel Age West, and other media outlets about emerging trends and developing issues in the travel industry.

We won Uniglobe Travel Center’s award for Best New Travel Agency in 2017. We are located in New York City, and are available to speak to the media about emergent issues in travel, including:

  • The importance of using a verified travel advisor for planning a vacation, including “Why use a travel agent?” questions.

  • The emergence of a new generation of travel agents, travel advisors, and travel consultants.

  • Issues related to LGBTQ+ travel.

  • Marketing and promotion of travel products and destinations.

  • Trends in travel and hot new destinations.

  • What consumers need to know about booking a travel “deal,” travel scams, and problems with booking travel online.

  • Travel safety and security for vacationing travelers, and the dangers of booking unverified vacation rental properties.

If you represent a print or broadcast media outlet and would like to speak to us, please direct an inquiry to info@huckleberrytravel.com, or submit a request to us through the contact form on this site. If you’re working on deadline, please include that information in your message; we’ll do our best to respond as quickly as possible.

We’d be happy to speak to bloggers or influencers about opportunities to collaborate, as well. Feel free to reach out to us at info@huckleberrytravel.com, or through the content form on this site.
