We love a good hotel breakfast. Emphasis on good. But we’ve been reading about a new trend in the hospitality industry — to eliminate free included breakfasts. We think mostly that’s what’s happening at mid-range or budget hotel properties, but even at luxury properties, it’s not a given that you’re going to have a room rate that includes breakfast.
