…and countless memories.
It’s that time of year, again, where we take stock of all of the fabulous places that Huckleberry Travelers went this past year.
We sent honeymooners to Thailand, the Panama Canal, Australia and Bali, we sent an anniversary couple to Hawai’i (the week before the volcano blew), and we handled travel for a destination wedding in Mexico. We arranged a luxurious trip to the Greek Isles, and a small ship Alaska cruise. We sent Huckleberry Travelers on a first-class tour of Germany, on a National Geographic itinerary in Japan, and on a gorgeous safari in Tanzania. We organized a “Nordic Noir” tour for clients in Sweden and Denmark, and a sheepdog demonstration for clients in Ireland. Some clients dined in a French Country manor, and other clients are having a spectacular Christmas dinner in Ireland in just a few days. And we sent lots of you to Italy. Lots and lots of you went to Italy. Fiji? Yep. New Zealand? Sure. India? Yeah, that’s where our guests were met by royalty, who happened to be living in that hotel at that particular moment.
And we traveled quite a bit, ourselves, this year. We escorted a group to Alaska, and hosted an even bigger group in Las Vegas. We ate ourselves sick in Bologna. We had the time of our lives in Cuba. We walked all over the East End of London, and learned about the history of Brick Lane and London’s immigrant communities. And we went to both an Owl Café and a Shiba Inu Café in Tokyo.
That’s a lot of travel for 2018. And we’ve got even more on-tap in 2019, when we’re escorting travelers to the Arabian Gulf in February, to Portugal in April, to Alaska (again, but we love it, so that’s super extra awesome), and to Morocco in September. We’ve got a private group going to Peru to hike the last day of the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, and we’re working on some fun National Park plans in the Southwest for a couple of different travelers!
If you’ve been following our adventures, you’ll also know that this wasn’t only a big year for our clients—it was also a big year for our business. We won the “Rookie of the Year” award from Uniglobe Travel Center, for best new Travel Agency, after only a little more than a year in business. We were interviewed and quoted in Travel Pulse, Skift and got a shout out in Agent at Home—three significant publications in the travel industry. We strengthened our relationships with our preferred travel partners, so that we can deliver the best pricing and exclusive amenities to our clients. Sure, we can book you on a packaged vacation, but if you’re looking for a couture travel experience, well, that’s definitely up our alley.
If you’d like to talk to us about planning your next epic adventure, we’d love to have that conversation. 2019 is going to be better than ever!
