We have lots of friends who book their own travel, and never think to come to us to book something that they could easily do on their own. Some have even said to us, “Well, it’s just a flight and a hotel room. That’s probably not worth bothering you about it, right?”
Wrong. Bother us. You’ll be glad you did! Our travel planning isn’t limited to big trips. Sure, we can find a luxury cruise, an adventure tour, or a trip-of-a-lifetime. But we can also book a quick weekend getaway. And we just might save you money!
For example, just today, we booked airfare and a hotel for someone. A quick trip to London at the end of November. Business class airfare and a 4 night hotel stay. They knew what flights they wanted, and they knew where they wanted to stay.
Admittedly, business class airfare isn’t cheap, but this bundling tactic totally works with economy or premium economy travel, as well. So, here’s how it priced out. Booking the airfare directly from the airline site, and the hotel directly from the hotel’s website (which was the cheapest place we could find it), the total package was $9294. (Remember, this is paid business class air, and an expensive London hotel room).
But when we booked it through one of our preferred travel partners, we were able to get a bulk airfare, as well as a preferred, negotiated rate on the hotel room, and we were also able to take advantage of an exclusive promotion for additional savings. The final price for the exact same flights and the exact same room? $8081.48. So basically, we saved our client more than $1200 on their trip.
Oh, and guess what? This particular travel partner does a price match. So, even if by some chance you were to find it cheaper somewhere else, you’re not paying more than you have to, if you book with us. Plus rather than shopping around looking for the best value, why not let us do that for you?
