Wow! What a year! For those of you who are playing along at home, Huckleberry Travel is just now wrapping up its first full year in business!
Well, more or less. We did a soft launch on social media in January, and had our first inquiry from clients within just a couple of hours! Those clients wound up booking a family trip to the Galápagos through us, and gave their trip rave reviews.
And, it didn't stop there. Just this year, we've sent travelers to dozens of countries on five continents. Our clients have gone on walking safaris in Botswana, and have visited the Taj Mahal in India. We've sent honeymooners to the Azores, and planned a late winter getaway to a beach resort in the Dominican Republic. We've booked cruises to Alaska and through the Panama Canal. We arranged for a group of travelers to ride camels into the Moroccan desert to overnight in a Bedouin camp, and we figured out a way to get other clients a "behind the scenes" tour of Versailles.
With every incredible trip we've booked for you, we've found ourselves adding new destinations to our "must go" (or, "must go, again") list. For example, when we had clients continually booking trips to Iceland, it was pretty clear that we needed to get there, ourselves! So, at the end of the year, we owe all of you--our readers, our clients, and our incredible travel providers--a tremendous debt of gratitude. Your enthusiasm for exploring the world we live in and your passion for having authentic, unique and immersive travel experiences is truly inspiring to us. And, of course, we're profoundly grateful that you've asked us to plan your travel, not just because we appreciate having your business, but because we know that you've trusted us to plan experiences that will lead to cherished memories.
The great thing about traveling is that once-in-a-lifetime journeys can happen more than once in anyone's lifetime. Whether you're looking for a cruise, a family Disney vacation, some down time on a beach, or an amazing active multi-sport adventure, we'll be here for you--because you've been there for us.
