Huckleberry Travel's 10th Anniversary: Seven Gems of the Baltic

June 2–10, 2027 | Copenhagen to Helsinki aboard Windstar’s Star Pride

We’re celebrating 10 years of Huckleberry Travel, and we can’t think of a better way to mark the occasion than by going somewhere wonderful with some of our favorite people. Join us aboard Windstar’s Star Pride for an eight-night voyage through the Baltic, sailing from Copenhagen to Helsinki and visiting seven distinctive destinations along the way.

This is also a chance to experience a very different kind of cruising. Star Pride is an intimate, all-suite yacht carrying just 312 guests, offering a relaxed atmosphere, personalized service and plenty of space without the crowds of a traditional large cruise ship. Windstar is also the Official Cruise Line of the James Beard Foundation, bringing a serious culinary focus to the experience onboard.

We’ve arranged special group pricing and amenities for our friends, family and clients who join us, and we’d love to have you aboard as we celebrate Huckleberry’s first decade.

The Itinerary

Day 1 – Copenhagen, Denmark

Our adventure begins in Copenhagen, one of Europe’s most effortlessly enjoyable capitals. Come early and spend some time exploring colorful Nyhavn, Tivoli Gardens, the city’s celebrated food scene and its famously walkable neighborhoods before we board Star Pride and set sail.

Day 2 – Gudhjem, Bornholm, Denmark

Our first port is on the Danish island of Bornholm, a Baltic gem known for picturesque fishing villages, rocky coastline, traditional smokehouses and distinctive round medieval churches. Its location and smaller size make it exactly the sort of destination that feels particularly well suited to a small-ship itinerary.

Day 3 – Gdansk, Poland

We arrive in Gdansk, a beautiful Baltic port with a fascinating and complicated history. Explore its colorful historic center, stroll along the Motława River and discover a city that played an outsized role in both European history and the Solidarity movement.

Day 4 – Klaipeda, Lithuania

Our next stop is Lithuania’s principal seaport, with its German-influenced Old Town and easy access to the extraordinary Curonian Spit, a UNESCO World Heritage landscape of enormous sand dunes, forests and Baltic beaches.

Day 5 – Riga, Latvia

We continue to Riga, Latvia’s lively capital and home to one of Europe’s great collections of Art Nouveau architecture. Wander the cobbled streets of the Old Town, explore the enormous Central Market or simply find a café and enjoy one of the Baltic’s most interesting cities.

Day 6 & 7 – Stockholm, Sweden

One day isn't enough for Stockholm, so we’ll have an overnight stay. Spread across a collection of islands, the Swedish capital combines grand architecture, waterfront neighborhoods, outstanding museums and a terrific restaurant scene. Visit the historic streets of Gamla Stan, see the remarkably preserved 17th-century Vasa, or simply explore the city at your own pace.

Day 8 – Tallinn, Estonia

Our final full day brings us to Tallinn, where we’ll stay until late in the evening. Its remarkably preserved medieval Old Town feels like something out of a storybook, with cobblestone lanes, towers, church spires and centuries-old buildings, while the modern city beyond has become one of Europe’s most dynamic technology and cultural centers.

Day 9 – Helsinki, Finland

We arrive in Helsinki in the morning and say goodbye to Star Pride. Extend your stay to explore Finland’s stylish seaside capital, or use Helsinki as the starting point for another Scandinavian adventure.

Why Windstar?

Part of what makes this trip special is the ship itself. With just 312 guests and 204 crew members, Star Pride offers an intimate, yacht-style experience where personalized service is the rule rather than the exception. The ship is entirely suite accommodations, with entry-level suites starting at more than 277 square feet.

And then there’s the food. Windstar’s longstanding partnership with the James Beard Foundation helps shape its culinary program, bringing recipes and inspiration from James Beard Foundation-affiliated chefs aboard its ships. It’s an approach to dining that fits perfectly with the way we like to travel: thoughtful, destination-focused and an important part of the experience rather than an afterthought.

Join Us!

This sailing is how we’re celebrating Huckleberry Travel’s 10th anniversary, and we’re inviting our friends, family and clients to celebrate with us.

Guests who book as part of our Huckleberry Travel group receive special group pricing, Windstar’s All-Inclusive Package, and $100 per person in shipboard credit. If our group reaches 18 guests, we’ll also have our own private cocktail party onboard, which seems like an entirely appropriate way to toast ten years of Huckleberry Travel!

Most importantly, availability on this sailing is already very limited. We do not have a block of staterooms being held for us, so availability is based on what is available at the time you book.

If you think you might want to join us, please reach out right away. We can walk you through the remaining stateroom options, explain the Huckleberry group benefits and help you put your suite under deposit.
